KELLY ERICKSON (producer)

Kelly always dreamt of working in movies ever since she was a little girl. At age 6, upon realizing that Disney animators were the magic behind her favorite movie, The Rescuers Down Under, she wanted to help bring movies to life. Shortly thereafter, that dream faded slightly as she realized that her artistic skills would not be up to the task.  Years later, while spending a semester in college studying film in Los Angeles, she made the pleasant discovery that there was much more to movies than a good drawing hand!  She moved to LA post-college to seek involvement in the business side of the Hollywood industry.

Since living in LA almost 5 years, Kelly has worked in distribution at Overture Films, in marketing at Relativity Media, and is currently working as a Feature Coordinator in physical production at 20th Century Fox.  Fox has allowed Kelly a further look at the business and logistical sides of filmmaking and what it takes to actually pull a movie together: budgets, schedules, incentives, etc.  She has had the opportunity to work on a number of Fox's titles, including Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, Parental Guidance, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, The Watch, The Heat, and the still upcoming The Book Thief and X-MEN: Days of Future PastVacant House was Kelly's first endeavor as a producer.
